    Ants!

Ants have been an annoyance for me ever since I switched to outside enclosures. They especially love the hibiscus plants, and seem to leave the chameleon alone. We're talking about the small black "sugar ants," not red or fire ants, thankfully. Searching the forums, the only idea I could find...

My chameleon STILL won't come near me :(.

imo think of your cham as a living painting; something to be admired and maintained but not messed with all that much.

Where to get rid of it.

glad this kid could "get rid of it."

    wow, life sucks.

I agree with Oli. Besides the initial cost of animal, caging, watering system, etc, it's not that bad, and it's the vet bills that you really need to worry about having a few hundred in reserve for (for one cham). Recently I had my veiled's fecal checked and he had coccidia. Cost me $20 for the...

    panther eating leaves,

My chams love to munch on veg from time to time. My veiled used to eat all sorts of greens and even fruit when he was young, and sometimes munch on his hibiscus and pothos, but now I only get a good feeding response from food that moves. As long as you repotted the plant with organic soil and/or...

What are the symptoms of a lethargic chameleon

What type of chameleon is it? My veiled will typically spend most of his time under the basking light while inside, and that's normal for veileds. If you're concerned about his overall health, and/or husbandry, you should fill out "the form" in the health section of the forums.

    Collard Greens in the UK?

Been a while since I read sandra's blog but I believe she recommends to use kale infrequently...can't remember why though. Collards are super easy to grow, but they are not popular outside of the southern us so it might be unavailable in england. [edit] sandra's blog is god...

    Orangeish Nosy be?!

Natural does not equal native. Natural can mean what you thought, but I meant it as "in nature." As in they naturally thrive in Florida. Why so hostile?

    Orangeish Nosy be?!

They're non native to Florida, and emerged from captive releases. And it's not a "versus" thing, since there's no contest. We have high humidity year round in Florida, combined with warm weather. It's actually fairly close to Madagascar weather most of the year here in Miami.

    Flying into Miami

Oh, I forgot, if you are in South Beach, you simply can't miss http://www.lasandwicherie.com/. Prosciutto and Mozzarella on their fresh baked bread with their unbelievable sauce that I buy in bulk for my home (tastes amazing on ANYTHING). I live around 30 minutes from there but make the trip all...
