Ants have been an annoyance for me ever since I switched to outside enclosures. They especially love the hibiscus plants, and seem to leave the chameleon alone. We're talking about the small black "sugar ants," not red or fire ants, thankfully.
Searching the forums, the only idea I could find is getting dishes with water or even better, oil, and placing the legs of the cage stand in the dishes, creating little pools that the ants cannot cross. Is this the best solution?
