New carpet cham. Female?

I received my new carpet today, and she is supposed to be gravid. Not sure she is actually a she...

I know the females are more colorful, but I know the black background most people associate with females is their stress or male repelling colors. Any members feel lucky wanna guess if it is a gravid she or just a fat male?

She is definitely a female, and also of the "major" form. That is why her coloration looks different.

She's beautiful! I love those lavender-colored spots she has, my little lateralis female gets them too. Good luck if she's gravid, you don't see these guys around very often, it seems.

I was hoping you would see this thread. You are the go to on carpets! I may be bending your ear a bit in the future. What supplement scedule would you recommend for the majors, and how long before she will need a laying bin?
