I thought this article was interesting. By breeding piebalds, cham breeders may run into some bad genetic mutations.

Oh wow that is crazy. Makes you wonder about all those piebald ball pythons...
 
It doesn’t affect him in anyway luckily. It almost has to be part of the piebald gene since it’s a lack of pigment. Will be interesting to see if some of the babies get it.

Interesting article. I know inbreeding had been a problem with pieds since people wanted to increase the expression of the gene.
