The first few pictures I was trying to capture the purple the panther was showing and the last set I took, they where asleep until I went and bugged them. Poor guys just want to be left alone.

They average 3-4 inches long in total length with some bigger and some smaller.
Getting pictures of these guys are a pain in the butt when all they want to...
I didn't have plans to breed him since I have a bunch of Samabava babies running around ( need to do an update on them), but now I am going to be looking for breeding stock for this guy. He is amazing.
As far as permits are concern about collecting reptiles and amphibians in California you will need a fresh water fishing license to collect take.

Hornworms can be expensive to purchase when compared to other readily available feeders and they grow real fast when proper temperatures are maintain with a constant food supply. I personally don't use them as a staple basted on the 2 reasons above, expensive and grow too fast for some...

Girls with curves need love too. She looks older than 4 1/2 months old to me and may have some eggs in her. In the first picture, her belly does look a little lumpy as in she might have eggs. I dunno....
