"Hi Sandy & Elliot,
I just want to thank you two both for the great advice and support with my cham's health. Many people get turned off because I can't afford to go to a vet. I think I can care for my animals better since I know their behavior. I just need advice, thats all. I'm stoked to tell you both, the next day after using Reptaid, my cham's eye was open and moving around healthy. I also noticed his color was rich and darker. Reptaid is awesome stuff.":)

Hey Gesang,
just tried the reptaid for the first time (I brush couple of drops on my hornworms). He seems to enjoy the taste and have no problem eating all the worms covered with reptaid drops.
Couple of Qs:

1. Since I use the method of brushing the med on feeder, is it ok to brush it on the supplement dusted feeder?

2. In the form it said that after mixing the RP contents, it have only a month be4 it goes to waste -seems like the reading suggest that expiration date even when refrigerated. Is that correct?

Thanks

D

Hornworms with reptaid sounds delicious! And I don't think hornworms with supplement powder and Reptaid should be a problem.
The expiration date for the unopened bottles is 4 years. Once mixed it must be refrigerated. IF refrigerated, the mixed product should last as long - 4 years. But if left unrefrigerated, it will spoil. The herbs and oils will break down, so it has to go in the fridge. This is per the herbologist. Amber Tech will clean that up on the next production.
Let us know how your chams improve in health and vitality!
thank so much

Dosage is .1ml (or .1cc) per 100 gram animal. An average adult male panther might be 150g, a young adult weighs about 100g. So, for a 150g animal, .15ml would be administered once a day for 10 days. It is ministered orally via small (1cc) needle-less syringe.

Is this the new dosage? The bottle says half that dosage?

I am also very concern it says once mixed it expires in 30 days. How do you know it lasts 4 years? Does the manufacturer state this? I've had problems with compound medicine only guaranteed for 1 month even when refrigerated. I think it would help everyone out if you can get some definitive answers from the manufacturer.

Sorry for the mixup. The manufacturer printed the bottle and the insert with the incorrect data. We have corrected it with them and the next batch of bottles will be correct. The proper dose is .1ml /100g animal weight. But if someone only gives .05ml it will still work but maybe not as effectively.
The same with the refrigeration. The herbologist who works for Amber Technology says the shelf life is 4 years until opened. Once mixed it must be refrigerated. It may only last 30 days if NOT refrigerated but it will last indefinitely in the refrigerator once mixed.

Reptaid progress report

We want to give an update on the progress of Reptaid. We now have people using Reptaid on various species of chameleons, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, and one breeder in Texas is going to start with snakes. So far we have had only good reports about quick recovery from various ailments and health problems. We are planning on having Reptaid for sale at the Reptile Super Show in Pomona! And we are in the process of having Reptaid formulated for larger reptiles such as larger snakes, iguanas, and monitors. We have had many requests for a stronger solution for larger animals, so we are working on that request. There has been significant interest from Reptile Rescue groups who care for neglected and ill animals. They have purchased the product and have reported sucess with very needy animals.
We sincerely appreciate all the positive feedback and encourage everyone to keep sending it to us as you see the incredible results of this great product for reptiles!

I just received my Reptaid today and began dosing my critters. I see now that the dosage is wrong on the instruction pamphlet. Do I double each dose then (.05 ml for a 50g animal rather than the stated .025ml), tomorrow, from what I did today? Additionally, does the doubling also pertain to the two to three drops from the dropper you use for an animal of approximately 25g?
Sorry if that was confusing! I know it is probably obvious, I just want to be sure I have this correct.

You are correct. The instruction sheet is incorrect and they are reprinting it for us. The proper dose is .1ml per 100g animal weight. So for a 50g animal you dose .05ml. And for a little one less than 25g, we use the needle on the syringe and allow tiny tiny drips to fall between the cham's lips. That is enough to help them. Remember, it is drips from the syringe and drops from the eye dropper. Big difference. Actually one drop from the eye dropper is about .05ml. But it is hard to control the eye dropper so we give you a syringe to use for the Reptaid.

We've been shipping overseas, and so have added United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, and Canada to our Paypal shipping options. Standard mail is still very reasonable, but there are priority and express options, as well.

We can certainly ship reptaid to sweden. And no, there is no dealer of reptaid in Europe yet, but if you are interested we can arrange that for you. PM me for more details.
Of course we would rather deliver Reptaid to you personally, and visit Sweden. But I think for now we will just have to mail it to you!

Man this stuff rocks

:)Im a true believer in this stuff. I had a Cham that wouldn't open his eyes, barely drink much less eat. I was for sure he was done for so I figured I would try this stuff and no joke he has done a complete 180 he eats non stop eyes clear and open and he has been putting on weight I also tried this on one of my lathargic beardeds and he has done the same he is head bobbing running around and eating like a freight train
Feel free to call about my experiences

Yes, Reptaid works very well for helping a cham, or any other reptile for that matter, to get rid of those pesky pinworms.
Your order went out this morning.
thanks!

finaly got some dubia roaches. they where very easy to inject. i would reccomend them for anyone who has an agressive chameleon. i grabbed it with some x-action tweezers injected into upper abdomen released into cup,it seemed unphased, i then quickly fed off. the ones i used where about 1.75in. long. i injected close to .13ml, (my veiled is 130g.),you might want to use larger roach for heavier cham.
