Official Enclosure Picture Thread #2 - post your pics!

Just finished this live wall which I put inside my enclosure.

This is a continuation to the very popular (and long) thread highlighting example chameleon cages. As to caging styles, decor, and species there are no guidelines! Of course GOC's, free ranges, and greenhouse types of caging are welcome too! Other owners will appreciate your contribution as they try to decide how to decorate or build their cages! :)

The green mats are air filters from Home Depot. I'm not sure how ideal they will be for mounting plants. I think they'd work best stapled together to make a pocket, stuffed with long fiber sphagnum moss and fertilizer pellets, then mounted.

Could you show me a link to them? What type of air filter? -Just got a large piece from petco for 18$, always feel a little dumb buying things directly from them

I would be happy to leave a link, except that products vary by region and store and some are not available at all stores, are only available online, or visa versa.

I don't have any of the packaging that they came with, so I don't recall the brand name, but they are about $6-$8 each. A google search for "natural fiber air filters" might be helpful. I'll try to remember to look up the brand, next time I am there.

I use old parrot cages. I find them cheap at auctions or yard sales. I wrap them in screen if I put a cham in there that can squeeze through the bars. The pan at the bottom works as a built-in drip tray. I can easily attach climbing branches and plants grow great. Plus they're huge. This one is still a work in progress. I'm waiting for my lights from lyr.

That is a great idea I think my mom still has her old parrot cage if she does I might have to talk my other half into getting another chameleon lol

The parrot cages also work great for their outside summer homes. I know they're safe in them. I live in the country and I know nothing can get into that.

2 16x16x30 cages for my male and female Veiled. They are getting upgraded to 24x24x48 in a couple weeks
