Hey all! I've been wanting a male Jackson's chameleon for a very long time, and the local pet store had one in stock and I finally bit the bullet. I have years of experience owning all sorts of reptiles, but this is my first chameleon. So far he is a great eater, drinks well, and most surprising is the fact that if I lay my hand near him, he will actually walk over to it and climb on up my arm. Very cool!
What I would like to know is if anyone can estimate his age. I'll try to get better pics, but here is one of Samuel L. sitting on a pair of sunglasses to give you some perspective of his size. He is definitely not a juvenile, but I have no idea how old he is, and I'm hoping I didn't buy one that only has a year or two left.
