Kinda panicking right now because im scared this might be a prolapse. Found this stickin out his cloaca when i came home from worm ~five minutes ago. Looks like poop to me but im scared it could be worse. Any insight? Thanks!
I’ve got a juvenile male Mountain Horned Dragon, Acanthosaura Capra, who came in with a broken arm and eats a little odd. Ive been attempting to set up a vet appointment for the little guy for his arm, but his eating and drinking seem off. He refuses any cricket or chopped up worm until i dangle...
Hey, its been awhile! Watson's going to be reaching two years this summer, but recently his behaviors have begun to change with this winter here in Cali. He's stopped eating from his feeding cup, a full throttle feeder's cup in brown, and begun to patrol the bottom of his cage for crickets and...
A thread to all of the beautiful little ones from the wonderful pair of Hank and Emma from @jannb ! My little one is Watson, and he is as blue as blue can be!
I may or may not have gone a bit overboard with plants for one of @jannb ‘s little guys. Lights still aren’t finished, waiting on the basking bulb coming on Tuesday. Currently, I have four thermometers, the chameleon academy supplement plan (Arcadia without d3 every day and every other Sunday...
Pete has not been doing well. His mouth rot is gone, but as he has begun growing more due to being over a year old, his back has begun to shift to the left. It started about a week ago, when he would not use his back legs when basking, and has elevated into him dragging them behind. He has been...
Guess who’s hatch day it is! Pete is now one year old as of today, and he keeps getting prettier and more stunning every day. Happy hatch day little one!
Pete is nearly a year old at this point. After we took him to the vet a while back, they cleared him and said he was looking good. He has not sneezed, but developed this. He has been eating less lately as well. I have images from the top, front, and side. He recently got a new cage as well.
Before we get his new cage (I’m getting the large atrium from dragon strand once they are available), I just want to make sure he is a healthy weight and that I have his care completely correct.

Pete is about 8 months old now, and he is dull with his colors. However, the instance he manages to get outside, being by him being taken out to clean or out to his tree, his colors come back and are extremely pretty. Why is this? Could it be the lighting or is it something else? I am unable to...
Earlier, Pete had crawled down to his sleeping spot, a part that's dark even during the day due to his pothos plant, at around 4:30. I caught him just now, at 6:00, sleeping. It is an hour and a half before his lights out, and i'm worried.
I was looking around for diy cages for Pete last night so my mom and I could make one, and a lot of them were basically large pots with a tree in it, and screen surrounding it. Would this be possible, if I reinforced in with wood and Plexiglas, to use for Pete?
Pete was in his cage today, and he started attacking his branch violently. Full display, biting, and grabbing. Afterwards, his lip was pulled down and he could not get it back on his own, so I flipped it back up to normal. This happened not even five minutes ago, and this was him a half an hour...
Lately it has been getting very cold where I live. Pete’s basking spots and heat do not give enough heat now, so his temps range from 75 to 65. Is there any better way to increase his temps? I have a repti-spot basking lamp and an incandescent bulb, plus a t5ho linear bulb.
I haven’t been home to monitor him much, and my mom has seen him eating, but he pooped twice today and they look shriveled and small. How can I make changes?
