Wow...I dunno if it's just me, but that seems too low. The fact that you live in Florida may make a bit of difference, but you should definitely see what the humidity is reading at in the cages. I personally mist for 30 seconds every hour. Maybe someone who lives in Florida can provide more...
I originally thought it was a female, but with that last picture I do see a very small curve...so hard to tell at this age, but looks like it might indeed be a male. Keep us updated please :) Good Luck!
This is actually due to emotion...When they feel scared/threatened/surprised/they just don't want you in their space lol...they will "puff up" like that. Any other time, their throat is relaxed as shown in the pic on the right.
