vertical or horizontial??

how does your chameleon sleep, on a horizontal branch or clinging to a vertical branch?

after giving Stanley's cage a good cleaning i added a vertical branch to this vine/branch highway to see if he's like it,, well,,, he liked it soo much it's where he decided to sleep tonight!

how in the heck do they manage to cling to the vertical branch all night and not lose their grip and fall?

When younger my female would sleep either way. Now she lays down every night on a big thick horizonal branch.

Tonight, he's horizontal, but upside down...last night he was vertical, right side up.

he was still holding on this morning!!! guess he's got a pretty strong grip!!!!
