I just saw your post as I was searching for a vet my Cham. Is this place experienced with Chams. Went to two vets last week, but they weren't familiar with the subtleties of a chameleon. Thanks.

A Jackson. He's a boy, about 1.5 years old. My son hasn't been continuously dusting his feeders with vits, and I wonder if he doesn't have a nutrient deficiency. Also just got new light from Light your Reptiles, so hope that helps. Both vets said he doesn't have signs of MBD, which is good, but I think something's up as his eye is puffy on the lower lid. He had it drained last week, and the fluid was clear, but now it back. Oh well, hopefully he'll be OK.

@jajeanpierre is so very knowledgeable with all species @Andee , @Nursemaia will be a help . Also check in with @Matt Vanilla Gorilla he takes care of all his baby's on his own he may have ideas , and @alphakenc is the eye specialist on the forum , Best of luck .

If you pm me, or start a new thread and tag me in it and fill out the form I will help any way I can. Jacksons you generally don't dust everyday or all the time. They need less supplementation.

I was wondering if you knew of anyone in Western MA? I live in Greenfield. I have a baby veiled who is only about 1-2 months old that I rescued from someone who couldn't take proper care of him. Thanks

Hello again everyone, just a quick update. After calling who knows how many vet clinics, I finally found one in my area who sees exotic animals. At least the receptionist said they see and have experience with chameleons. Peepers has an appointment on Monday, so we shall see how it goes. He is scheduled for an over all check-up and a poop test. After his appointment I will post an update on how it goes and the clinic contact info.

So today was Peepers first vet appointment... It went very well! He is a little under weight but other than that in perfect Heath the clinic is here in Western Massachusetts. The doc was good, and knew what he was doing, and the staff was great! Here is the contact info for the clinic:
