Are Rhododendron branches safe to use

Good morning. I know that the flowers and foliage can be somewhat toxic. Just wanted to see if anyone has any input on using the branches.

I would guess the bark has toxins as well. Since some young chameleons will chew their branches occasionally I would try to find something else.
