    Mudskippers !

Those are VERY cool!! I've been looking at getting some for awhile now, but I've heard that they are hard to keep as well. How are yours doing and do you have any suggestions for perspective owners? Nice tank too by the way!:)

    New Background for enclosure

I think it is really creative and I bet your cham loves it!! Did you use 'great stuff' with cork bark imbedded in it? I've sone the same thing for my Crested Gecko set ups but I glued (with silicone) coconut fibre onto the foam 'Fun Stuff' instead of painting it. Nice to see someone being...

Is it possible to have too big a cage? I have a Lateralis furcifer and was wondering if a 30" X18"x 30" is too big?

    Carpet Chameleon

She just did a shed and boy was it quick! She had almost all of it off of her in no time!! I will definitely put a lay box in right away and will up her mistings. I'm just curious how you can tell that she is still dehydrated? I'm not recognizing the signs... I really appreciate all the help...

    Carpet Chameleon

Ha ha! I just posted on your thread before I read this. I haven't had mine very long so I am trying to gather all the info I can. All I can say is that she is totally awesome. She's wildcaught so she's still going through the acclimation phase - so far so good:). Let me know when you get...

    Carpet Chameleons (Fulcifer)

I have a female Lateralis Carpet and I LOVE her!! She's wildcaught (nobody around here breeds them) and seems to be acclimating well. :)I know that this doesn't answer your questions, but really, I am looking for info as well so I am piggybacking on your thread if that's ok. Please post pics if...

    Carpet Chameleons

Hey Turchak - where are you located?(I am just outside of Kitchener). I just bought a carpet a few weeks ago(and LOVE it by the way) and was maybe thinking of getting another. Are the ones you're looking at Lat. or major and are they wild caught? Mine is wild caught and so far seems to be...

    too much light??

Thanx for that word of advice Chris. Do you really think that a 100w M.V. is detrimental in that configuration?

    Carpet Chameleon

I just got a Carpet Chameleon last week and it seems to be doing fine. I would appreciate any pointers from anyone who has Carpets or just general info. It is a young adult, wild caught, female (I think). I have it in a wire mesh cage with a ficus and some jungle vine in a room that is heated...

    Forcifer Lateralis

I just got a Carpet Chameleon and I have heard just recently that some people actually keep them in glass enclosures. Does anyone have any input for me on this. I have it in a wire cage right now, but if for some reason glass is better, I want to move her - whatever is best for her. She is...

    gravid Jackson's cham

I'm just wondering if there is any way to tell if my female meru Jackson's is gravid or not. When I bought about 4 weeks ago, she was housed with a male. She is supposedly 9months old and seems to have gained weight. Do they show certain colour changes like gravid Panthers? And if she is...
