My first prototype
I was planning on using Exo-terra Nano glass cages for my baby cages but the supply chain issues we are all too familiar with made me get creative. Forum member, MeruJack, who I all but stalked on here when I was getting started used Nanos for her baby jacks and she had a...

Of course, all animals require water to survive, and it isn't as simple as placing a bowl in the bottom and calling it a day. In fact, with most chameleons this will have little, if any benefit. Most chain pet stores display their chameleons with a water bowl, and this can be misleading to the...

Second, the free-range area is at exact the same spot as where a Reptibreeze XL (24´x24´x48´) stood.
Many assume...

Mort was a gem at the vet. He weighed in at about 105g, and didn't offer to bite the vet at all, bless his little reptilian heart. Dr Sweet and I agreed to treat the pins and see if the rest falls into place, thinking the parasites may have overpopulated because of the stress.
To my...

Since these worms are so expensive, but so great for hydrating, and good treats for our wonderful scaley friends, I figured It would help some to breed them, especially if you have more than one cham, or more than one cham at different ages, since these things grow so fast.
This is what I...

Yay They are eating. I fed them 5-7 silk worms this morning and they gobbled them up within 10-15 minutes. Lola the female ate 3 at a time (they were balled up) and Pascal the male ate 1 at a time. (I spread those out)
for me, best day
pascal obviously every day is torture and he hates his life passionately, the fact that i have finally got his temerature right with his expensive new bulbs, and feed him his favourite food and give him lots of water and plants and uvb light just pisses him off.
i went to...
