There are a number of ways to transport your chameleon to reduce stress. Whenever your chameleon needs to go in the car to the vet, or when you're moving, it can be nerve-wracking to make sure they are going to be okay during the stressful journey. Though chameleons have specific long term needs...
Introduction to Bio-Activity:
As of recent times, a lot of folks have been asking questions, and for guides on Bio-active Enclosures. How to set them up, how to drain them, how they work, why they work. I figured it was good and Time, that someone sat down and made a Guide! I have been meaning...
My first prototype

I free range my chameleons so I really have to pay close attention to when it’s time to lay eggs. I think one of the most important things is to have a gram scale and weigh her once a week. If she's gaining and you are still feeding the same amount of food then I figure she must have eggs. You...
I'm always trying to find these links for people. Now anyone who is interested in knowing more about Jacksons chameleons can find them here.

Mort was a gem at the vet. He weighed in at about 105g, and didn't offer to bite the vet at all, bless his little reptilian heart. Dr Sweet and I agreed to treat the pins and see if the rest falls into place, thinking the parasites may have overpopulated because of the stress.
To my...

Since these worms are so expensive, but so great for hydrating, and good treats for our wonderful scaley friends, I figured It would help some to breed them, especially if you have more than one cham, or more than one cham at different ages, since these things grow so fast.
This is what I...

Yay They are eating. I fed them 5-7 silk worms this morning and they gobbled them up within 10-15 minutes. Lola the female ate 3 at a time (they were balled up) and Pascal the male ate 1 at a time. (I spread those out)
for me, best day
pascal obviously every day is torture and he hates his life passionately, the fact that i have finally got his temerature right with his expensive new bulbs, and feed him his favourite food and give him lots of water and plants and uvb light just pisses him off.

Yesterday I got my chameleons. A boy and girl, Pascal and Lola. Their cages were delivered last night and I made a feeding cup. I do not know if they ate today. I will find out when I get home later today
My most recent attempt to get Shayna well was a weekend attempt to make her a laying bin that she might use.
I put a large plastic rectangular tub of soil and sand just below the bottom access of her cage. The substrate is about 8", I planted a pot of philo at the far end, and put two...
