Hey all,
Wanting to ask some advice here before trying to find a vet in my area. Monday/Tuesday, I noticed a white patch on my chams eye after I saw him rub it a couple of times. I figured it was stuck shed or just a scratch but I upped the misting more and have been giving him showers a couple times weekly. However, the bump seems to be getting worse. He doesn't seem bothered by it at all really.... I haven't seen him rubbing his eye since Monday.
Tonight, I tried swabbing it gently to see if it was stuck shed, but nothing came off. I then did a small dab of aloe vera gel that I've used for years on my leatherback bearded dragon, who is prone to shedding issues. He doesn't act any differently really, then again he is in the breeding mood lately so he kind of just acts crazy all the time. But he's not keeping his eyes closed, not lethargic, etc.
I've attached pictures below. It has definitely changed since Monday. It almost looks like a raised scale? I can't tell though and these were the best pics I could get.
Any clues? I didn't rush to the vet immediately due to thinking it was just shed but if anyone thinks this is serious... I will not hesitate to take him.
