Introducing Dulce the baby Cuban Knight Anole.

Since she's Cuban we named her Dulce after the famous Cuban ballerina "back in her day".....now retired and the artistic director of the Jacksonville Ballet, where Lizbeth (my daughter) use to dance.

Isn't she a cutie?

Nice! That's one of the lizards I'd like to have some day. Thanks for explaining her name; when I first saw it, I thought "Dulce de Leche" (caramel).

So now Mike has his reptile and you have yours. Good thing Red is big so you can share him. Nice family you have going.:)

What a surprise! Keep her away from your veileds or she will be invited to lunch. LOL Sorry for that, I am still freaked.

Ducle also means sweet or candy. Something like that. :)

Have you tried giving her a chin rub yet? LOL

Thanks for all the nice compliments on little Dulce. She is just soooooo cute!

Tiff, it does look like she has beautiful long eye lashes but it's just her coloring.

Yes Syn, I've give her a few chin rubs but she's just so tiny I have to use my little finger. She's only 1 to 2 inches long not counting her tail. We just started taking her out of her cage for short periods........she jumps and I don't want to loose her in my house.

When I first had my tokay, I would take him into the bathroom, sit in the bathtub and close the shower curtain. Helps with some of my more jumpy geckos that I'm working with as well. :)
