This is why I stopped breeding Jacksons. They are real hard to keep alive. I had a batch that by all accounts were doing great until they reached about 4 and a half months at which point they just dropped like flies for no apparent reason. I have seen people on here that have had success, but I think that every condition has to be optimal especially the health of the female for there to be any success. And I think luck has a great deal to do with it as well.
 
You will need formalin solution. I don't know where to get it besides the vet's office. It's what they use to preserve biopsies.
