So, I got a new baby last night....shes about 10-11 weeks old, very sweet and is going crazy sniffing and exploring all over the place.

shes yet to be named though....gotta get a better feel of her first

Is she albino? I've never seen a hedgehog besides Sonic lol.

Aww, she's sweet! She looks like she's got very short bleach-blonde hair! If she was mine I'd call her 'Blondie'! Do they stink though? I read somewhere that they can be quite smelly! She's a cute little hedgiepig!!

shes a pale apricot snowflake, not albino. and really they don't smell at all, I'm sure if you don't clean there cage they would, but if your not going to clean up after a pet you might as well not own it.

well there not legal in calif. eaither, but I found a local vet that will see her in case she needs to go in.

Alot of animals in CA are banned simply out of governmental misinformation. If you really want to get into it talk to a ferret owner, they usually know the ins and outs of the laws. Every ferret owner I meet gives everyone a piece of their mind about it!

I can't really see what environmental niche the hedgehog would replace, but then again people never do with invasive species.
