Please help!! Tongue not working after vet visit!

Help!! I took bort to the vet today for a check up for his fist time ever and they said he was fine. I was surprised however of how they were manhandling him. He was fine after we got back home with him in his enclosure, but he was grumpy which is understandable.

Main problem is that I tried to give him a treat and his tongue won't seem to work! I'll include a link to a video of him trying.

They may have injured his tongue when they opened his mouth to look inside. Give him a few days to heal

Awe! Poor guy! Next time, insist that you do all the handling. Especially if he is just there for a check up.
