male veileds colors?

At what age does a male veiled begin to show his colors? I have a 3 1/2 month old and he is usually shades of brown or green, not a lot of color yet.

Around 9 or 10 months he should color up

My female got her 'big girl' colours at around 6 months. Your boy should start to show more colour with each shed - the barring will become more prominent first. JannB's babies have just hit the 3 month mark and some of those males already have some very good colour already! It all depends on the chameleon - they are all different just like us!

Mine started to get all his color at around 5 months old. That's when his barring and everything else was really starting to come out more.
