I cant help but worry about my chameleon because ive spoke to a lot of people that have had chameleons and everyone of them has said to me that their chameleon died after a couple of months. I would be devastated if my chameleon died because I love her loads. Ive researched and spoke to loads of people to find out the best care for her, please if anyone has any tips how to keep your chameleon happy and healthy i'd be very grateful.
Thank you.
Natasha.

Chameleons are amongst the hardest animals to maintain healthy. This is why so many people lose them within a few months. However, if you have the proper installations and conditions, chameleons can live easily between 4 to 6 years old, if not more!

Since you are well intentionned and that you care for your animal, you have the hardest part done. What i suggest you is to fill this form:
https://www.chameleonforums.com/how-ask-help-66/

The idea is to answer to everything with as much details as you can. This way, people will be able to point out the things that need to be improved! Also, have a few pictures of your enclosure and chameleon is very very very important. :)

Welcome to the Chameleon Forums. This is a great place to learn about chameleons. What kind of chameleon do you have and how old is she?

How rude am I! I forgot to welcome you! So... Welcome aboard! :) Jannb is a valuable person and i strongly suggest that you listen to everything she says! You won't regret it! :)

Staying active on this forum alone will greatly increase your chams survival. Read up and ask questions is the best advise I can give you.

Poop

Heres a good tip, watch there poop if there is orange in the urate which is normaly supposed to be bone white that means u could have a sub-optimal hydration or dehydration problem.

Welcome to the forum!

Morpheon said it best: If you fill in the answers to the how to ask for help form, then people here can give you the information you need to have a healthy cham.

Welcome

My best tip - stay on the forum. You'll learn loads.

Secondly - learn how to gutload well - learn what nutrients your chameleons needs and which produce provide those nutrients.

Hi and welcome to the forum!!! Definitely fill out the ask for help form and it will enable the rest of us to help make any changes to keep your new baby happy and healthy. By the way, what type of cham do you have and what's it's name? :)

Welcome to the forum and to the world of chameleons!

If your husbandry is good/right and you have a good healthy chameleon to begin with then it should do well for you! Supplementing, gutloading insects, providing appropriate temperatures, UVB lighting and water are all important. What species is it? What sex? How old?

Here are some sites that give good information to get you started...
