how do i get my chameleon to come onto my hand?

okay, so ive had my cham for about 2ish weeks and she has adapted very well! shes getting more excited to eat and stuff but i really wanna be able to hold her!!!! ive tried hand feeding but all she does is give me the stink eye and then turn away…what do i do?

This is a fantastic blog. https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/building-trust-with-your-chameleon.2396/ It takes much time, much patience, many yummy bugs and sometimes, especially with our veiled sweethearts, we may never achieve what we want. More often than not, we accept them and their wonderful sassiness as they are. I’ve been at it for years with my sweet girl and she is still sassy. She does know that I’ll never hurt her and does not get stressed if I get near or even (gasp!) hold her. On the far other side of the spectrum, I have a male panther who seems to want nothing more than to just sit on my hand and look at me. This is my second one who is like this. We just have to love them for who and how they are.
