I'm noticing that I am seeing in the store bought screened cages that the small part of the opening is placed at the top of the cage. I though it should be placed at the bottom of the cage.to get to your planted and for cleaning purposes. Also can I use the green reptile substrate mat on the bottom above the cage to catch the poop and prince it off or will it effect my drainage system;
