Help! Our Chameleon is laying Brown Clear Eggs?

Stafford

We are an animal shelter, and we had a veil chameleon surrendered to us and we do not know a whole lot about them. This weekend, she appeared to be laying eggs so the staff did some research and followed all the directions. But the eggs don't look like eggs. They look like clear brown eggs without a shell, is this normal? All the research I have done says that eggs look like eggs. Any suggestions? After speaking with a staff member, she said after the eggs were moved into dirt they started coming together and looking like eggs. Again, is this normal?

Thanks.

She could have reabsorbed the shell I suppose. I don't know too much about it, sorry. Post some pictures.

Okay, this is the best picture we have. It's not very good, but may help.

Are you sure its a veiled?
if they look like brown slugs, then it may not be a veiled.
can you post pictures of the chameleon please?

Id put em in vermiculite an incubate them, if they arnt fertile they will go bad ive had eggs look not normal an they hatch so you dont wanna throw them out till they go bad..

also is that what she laid the eggs in? cant really tell but doesnt look very deep i use a bucket 12' deep with a mix of playsand an cocofiber an my females dig to the bottom on said bucket then bury the hole bk up..

Yeah it looks like a female Jackson to me and if it is jacksons have live births if I'm not mistaken so that couldn't be eggs she was laying

Definitely not a veiled!!!
60% sure that is a female jackson.
and if it is a jackson, they are live bearers, which means she passsed slugs, not eggs. so no point in incubating,

See that's what making me question the body looks like Jackson to me but the head doesn't my friend has one let me see if I can find a picture

the face looks too long for a jacksons to me.
female jax have short almost snub nosed faces.
but i googled flapneck and sailfin chams, and its not them either.
