Decide this Butterflies fate. Safe to eat?

I was outside watering Chameleo, when 2 of these flew by.

I know some locals like to feed off painted ladies, but I have no clue what this is.

I would be just as happy to let it go if there is a level of uncertainty.
But does anyone know if this is safe to feed? If not, out of the tupperwear into freedom it goes.

its a type of leaf butterfly, they use camoflauge instead of toxicity to avoid predators, its fine to feed off.
