im haveing a moral debate with myself. calir is under a 14day wanrrenty and i can take her back but i but petsmart will just kill her(they cant take care of her) she had this when i bought her vut i didnt know. :'( i already love her so much and i keep calling vets but no one is helping me. iv been crying all morning and everytime i hear her weez a little it breaks my heart. im stuck. what should i do? please help im so upset.

Sadly nobody here can really do anything apart from give you advice, we can't just magically heal your Chameleon as much as we'd love to, but...

If this is the case I suggest you keep trying to contact vets and get her back into good health. There must be a reptile vet nearby who can help, just keep trying.

Bless you - hope she gets on ok at the vets. My cham just passed from a respiratory infection - they can be easy to treat if caught in time and sounds like you may just have done so. Make sure you keep her at optimum temps when you get her home - it will help speed up her metabolism and get the antibiotics - which i expect the vet will give you - into her body quicker.

Several owners on here have suggested using a warm water fogger which i have found helps as it can losen any mucus present. Remember that chams cannot cough so make sure you keep a close eye on her

i did cetch it pritty early. dry weez never mucus. he said she just about perfect. 5grams( shes young) need a gram scale to make shure shes gaining, gave me anibiotics for. i guess shes gunna b ok. i was so scared. im so sorry for your loss

Glad it sounds like Clair is going to be ok
Make sure you keep up the water intake whilst she is on the antibiotics - they can be difficult for their little kidneys to process so they need to be well hydrated throughout the time they take the antiobiotics.

Thanks for your kind words. I know how you feel about them scaring you - i used to get a panic attack everytime Dolly even looked ill!
