2plants scheffla and ficus both in organic soil

uvb 5.0 bulb

basking light

tank (of course)

branches (bakes at 350F for 15min)

mister and dripper jug

themometer with hydrometer

branches

and repto carpet 2 pieces

resoviour system

and thats it Im getting a juvinelle in a 30 tall 25long 14 inch wide cage male veiled does everything check out please tell me if im missing anything because id like things set to go when he arrives!!:D

Looks good, but i would drop the reptile carpet... they have been known to damage a chams tongue if they were to shoot at it. Also by "tank" you mean screen/mesh enclosure right, not an aquarium?

exactly what I was going to ask... oh, and you want to make sure you get a linear UVB 5.0 bulb, not compact.

how does the carpet affect them????ive had mine since i got my cham and havent had any probs....he eats feeders off of it no prob??

Any type of substrate or covering on the bottom is kind of a breeding ground for bacteria with all the mistings and drippings of water collecting in it. It is just more sanitary to leave the bottom of the cage empty. Easier to clean for sure also. I am not familiar with the carpet, so I don't know if any of it can become loose, therefore posing a threat to your chameleon if accidentally eaten.

just a suggestion ...about dropping carpet
paper towels are awesome, easy to clean/replace, and can help with humidity :)
but thats if you dont mind the look of it ...its just very convieniant :D

Yeah, I suggest paper towel, too. Easy and cheap to replace, and much more convenient to lift out the entire bottom then to scrape the poo off the bare floor.
