baby sleeping in the daytime??

Hi, I have a 1 month old ambanja, I've never had babies before, I was wondering if they sleep more than adults? He is active during noon, but this morning and a few other times i have caught him sleeping past 8 am and going to sleep before 5 pm. is he sleeping too much or is this expected?? thanks.

in that case, it could be a jetlag effect from shipping.
Should be subside after couple of days.

not jet lagged. I have had him in my care for about 3 weels. He was picked up locally, not shipped.
