I recently bought an Umbrella plant from Homebase in the UK. I have covered the soil with wire mesh and then put large rocks on top. This means the soil is completely unaccessible to the chameleon. Is it still necessary to repot with different soil???

Sorry - I've just checked and realised I got the dimensions of the cage wrong. The one I'm getting is 18x18x36 inches. So on your reccomendation, I can get the Arcadia T5 22" 12% Bulb with the appropriate reflector. This will have to go diagonally across the top of the cage for it to fit...

Aaaah ok thanks again! What's the reason behind needing the cage dry by lights off time? If it's still slightly damp, is that bad for the cham?
