Some pics from today, he started shedding a day or two ago. After getting his fill of supers he got to go outside since it was 70 today and then even ate a little more. this guy is getting big. he's looking for ladies out there to turn on his red and yellows.
i was having some trouble keeping humidity up as well and thought more frequent mistings were the answer. i don't recommend it. you will have to maintain the enclosure more frequently as bacteria is more apt to grow in constantly wet environments. in the winter i have found two-three mistings a...
hey there, Baxter is in need of a check-up and I had a severely awful experience with the last place I went to. I'm just wondering if any of you know a good clinic to go to for chams in or around NE Florida. I don't mind driving a little bit. I drove twenty minutes just to be ripped off and...
Depends on how many of each sex I have. Probably won't be feeding off any of the first generation until another is ensured. I want to have a nice little breeding colony so that if I'm successful, feeding a few off once and a while wont be a big deal. Just an occasional treat. But yeah if I end...
Baxter had a birthday last week, snapped a few pics of him in his enclosure. Got some today of him hanging out on his temporary free range inside. Hope everyone digs him, he's such a sweet boy.
anyone?
i'm bumping this because i'm still having trouble figuring out what might be the issue with his eye. i haven't noticed any saliva bubbles or anything like that, temps have cooled here now, so the air is getting dryer but i have added a hanging pothos and a small umbrella plant to help...
hey i currently am running a mist king set up on my viv and temps are dropping since it's starting to get a little cooler here in florida, room temps havn't been below the mid to low 60's so far, but i was wondering if anyone has ever used an aquarium heater to try and get the misting water temp...
what locale? it definitely looks female, but the stripes throw me off. i think she may just be excited in the photos, pretty girl though. at about three months generally males have a lot of color going on compared to females.
thanks guys. hopefully he will get even bigger. he's a handful, at almost 10 months he's right under 100 g and right at about a foot long. here's one where he's not trying to defend his territory.
the third one is from the panther chameleon book, a wild chameleon. i've never seen these in person before, i'm sure it'd be a trip. Also, I thought this nosy radama looked like an ank but i've never seen one anywhere with such deep vibrant colors. maybe a cross?
he's an Ambilobe BB. When he gets excited his turrets become striped with blue and pink and the yellows and oranges really come out on his underbelly, legs, and face. hopefully he'll have another shed soon, it's been a minute.
