my veiled is eating my umbrella plant
is this normal/safe?
what other greens should i offer as a substitute?
how should i offer these alternative greens? by hanging from something i imagine?
any input would be appreciated thank you.
haha yea i know about the deadly waterfalls.
fact is she never goes near it, crickets/feeders dont get to it before she eats them up and it stays rather clean for about two weeks no hassle
also i like the look/sound and if for some reason i cant make a misting session I know there is still...
so this is a pic of my enclosure/s i have a female veiled in the bigger one
which is 4' tall
2' deep
3' long/wide
both have screened in sides and tops
plexi glass fronts/doors
i placed a plant pot 12" wide/deep filled with play sand with the "practice tunnel" as directed
how deep wide should this tunnel be?
also thank you all for the input very helpful.
thank you.
i bought her from a pet store so i have no idea how old she might be
however, she is about 4" long not including tail
with tail id say about 8"
anyone know around how old that would make her?
I was looking to get sand for an egg laying dish but all the pet store had was crushed english walnut shells it is very similar to sand and says on the bag " great for sand substitute" however i would rather be safe than sorry
also i had used this to cover the soil in my plants does anyone...
i need to know if ground english walnut shell is ok to use for my female veiled cham?
i ask because it was way cheaper at the pet store.
also i bought a "plant" light from lowes and am curious if that will produce the necessary uvb uva light?
the light is 2 foot coupled with the sunglow...
Thanks for the input i hadn't thought of some thing you were all saying such as heat radiant and possible eye damage
i just wanted the light to beam from front to rear of enclosure for my own view purposes but you all have reminded me that its about the cham being comfortable not me haha...
i have a 4' tall 3' wide 2' deep screen enclosure
and was thinking of getting the exo terra light cycle tube light set up for it
i was wondering what bulbs i should use with a jackson chameleon?
also would it be ok to run the tubes vertical rather than horizontal?
Further more the fixture...
