Zanzibar Versus The Stick Insect

In my experience keeping stick insects in the past 2 years is that they only live to 1.5 years about. Mine grow slower without a heat lamp so to reach adult size takes about 8-10 months. If you had a glass tank with a heat lamp you may be able to get them to mature quicker. I've just used butterfly cages and screen cages.

Dude that was AWESOME!!! The other day I fed my cham a huge grasshopper, but it was nowhere near that big

Zanzibar is a dad! His sons and daughters are popping out of eggs left and right!

Okay okay, he's already a grandpa but heck I'm excited my eggs finally hatched. Should be some rad colors.

Thanks! I have lots of cham videos if you get bored; )

Yeah stick insects are pretty big but they are mostly long. Dubias are more of a mouthful but nowhere near as fun!
Just saw your "how to collect bugs easy" vid, are you using those wild caught feeders for your chams? Any problems with that method? otherwise I'm definitely gonna try :)

I am using that method to feed my chameleons:) STRONG CAUTION - DO NOT use that collecting method on lawns that are being used with pesticides and fertilizers. I know my lawn and I control what is on my property so that I can say confidently the lawn is pesticide and fertilizer free. I bet some fertilizers might not hurt the babies but I play it safe and only fertilize when I know I won't be harvesting for at least a month.

Feel free to PM me if you need any help or would like further clarification.

As for baby pics, yes you're right! I need to! Stay tuned...
