I just finished digging up 27 more eggs from Ouroboros, sired by Icefyre.
This time went even smoother than last.
I use a 28lb Scoop Away cat litter bucket. I cut a 4x4 hole in the lid. I put about 6 inches of damp play sand in it. When she starts to wander around I put it in her cage and run an artificial vine through the hole so she can get in and out.
She started digging in the small bowl of sand I keep in her cage yesterday. So I put the bucket in her cage last night and put her on the vine facing into the bucket.....She climbed right down and started digging until lights out. This morning she started again and by 6:00 PM she had the hole buried and was back in her cage eating and drinking.
I took the bucket out and unearthed the eggs. I ended up with 27.
Her last clutch of 21 was laid on 2/27/08. They all seem viable and have swelled nicely and remain unmoldy. They were also sired by Icefyre.
Now for the LONG wait.
