Why it is important to get regular fecal done

Just look at this pretty girl. Fat and healthy looking. Eating and acting normally like nothing could be wrong....

I never would have imagined I would find her fecal float LOADED with pinworms and Coccidia

This image is from my Celestron 44340 microscope.
The larger egg shapes are Pinworms while all the little round circle things are coccidia -oocysts

I have already started her treatment which involved cleaning out her cage to the bare minimum and starting her on Ponazuril and Fenbendazole.

Dont most live with parasites in general just fine? I guess in captivity it should be avoided at least if possible, Id prefer not use meds unless need be. Good looking girl you have there shes in good hands.
