okaaay so i have heard so many things but not things that i can comfirm ans say right down for further use later on so,mealworms,superworms-the beetles that come from both, horn worms, waxworms, dubias,*im good with the cricks* praymantisis, and anything els. what do you feed each of these feeders and which are good as treats and which are good as stables, when should they be fed to your cham if it is a stable or treat.can you buy a simple dry gutload for each 1 or multible diff species and feed them the regular wet kind of gutloads*ugh confusion* this info will ne used for a veiled cham.. male and or female. sorry if this is kinda a lot to handle : /

For all Chams really crickets/ roaches/ locusts can be used as staples. Waxworms and mealworms are the worst (Chams seem to love them though.....think of them as like the burgers and fries of the insect world :D). Calciworms and Silkies are the best worms. Supers can be fed more often than mealworms, but still no substitute for a proper staple. Everything else just for variety really. Wow, I must be tired, my head is spinning on this one :p
Uhhh, crix horned butter silks/staples
Meal wax I don't use at all
cricket crack, bug burger as gutloads
Fresh veggies, dark greens
oranges
that's all I got for now

Ohh please don't forget your supp sched and it sounds like you might like a little guidance on the lighting as well.
5.0 linear uv light
40 to 60w basking light
12on 12off, no lights at nite.
With winter hours approaching lighting sched will need to be adjusted

Feeding, the earlier the better they need minimum 3 hours to digest their food and they need heat to help with digestion

Supp sched varies from person to person

mealworms - up to 10% of the chameleons diet (must be gutloaded and calcium dusted)
superworms- up to 20% of the chameleons diet (must be gutloaded and calcium dusted)
Beetles - up to 20% of the chameleons diet if the diet includes soft-bodied feeders, but less if the diet is largely chintonous or hard shelled.
Waxworms - treat only, or not at all (largely fat)
Dubias - staple -up to 50% but a greater variety of prey is always better than a lesser variety (must be gutloaded)
Crickets - staple -up to 50% but a greater variety of prey is always better than a lesser variety (must be gutloaded and calcium dusted)
Mantis- up to 20% of the chameleons diet (must be gutloaded and be careful about larger ones fore-limbs causing mouth injury)

Other commonly used feeders: hornworms, silkworms, terrestrial isopods, stick insects, moths, locust/grasshoppers, butterworms, blue bottles etc
