I have an ambanja that is approaching her first year in age, havent's seen any indication that she is preparing for eggs. There is soil and areas for her to do so in her cage but, after watching what others have gone through on this forum, I am a little nervous for her and want to know in advance what to watch for and when. thanks, cheryl

:She has not been mated.

Its difficult to determine when they will lay their first clutch...but watch for increased drinking, wandering the cage, slowing in the appetite, increased girth in the lower half of the body, etc.
