Looks like their shell's arent well developed. Perhaps your female hasn't gotten enough calcium. (just a guess)

ummm, help me out Stefan, you know i'm learning..:D
what are we looking at/for? the different color tones on the eggs??? :) lisa

i would say the same, you can see the yolk clearly underneath the membrane so I think some calcium deficiency or laid prematurely?

They defiantly are Bearded Pygmy chameleon eggs.

Lisa-Thanks a ton

Seeco- I doubt that is the case. When i woke up i found 1 and took it out. Then i misted the cage and during misting there were no eggs. Then i come home today from school and see 2 more.

I think if you cut one open (once you are sure they are not good), that the yellow part will be solid or almost solid.

How long were they sitting in the cage before they were incubated?

Are they turning into that over time? Laid like that?

What is your dusting schedule, and are you dusting the food like ghosts or?

Give us a little information! :)

Kinyonga-I honestly dont know how long. But once i see them i dig them up.

Syn-The schedule is the same as Clea's. Every other feeding is plain calcium.
Calcium with D3 twice a month and Multivitamin once a month

So those are ones she just laid-right? Look like infertile Pygmy eggs to me-that's all.

PS-Do not oversupplement your pygs-they can't take it. You are supplementing just fine.

These are the ones that she has been laying around her cage the past 2-3 days. She just drops them on the soil is what im guessing.

Thanks Julirs!

1. Just curious, do you have anything in the tank that might be digging them up?
2. What kind of substrate are you using and how deep? Is it moist enought for her to dig a hole without caving in?
3. My veil eggs look like that after about 3 or 4 days, when there not fertile. (inside the yolk is already clouding up)
4. Can you show pic of set-up, female, and male?
I know alot to ask but you know the old saying " a picture is like a thousand words":)

Hey Stefan Im thinking maybe they are fertile but the shells arent being produced that well and are thinner than what they should be, making them see through. What I would do is feed her more calcium.

Good luck :)
