I am posting a testimonial here regarding how wonderful these forms are.

I got my veiled chameleon January 2 years ago ago in January. I had no idea what I was doing. I came here for guidance and was able to set up a basic set up for him.

After establishing a vet, I had learned my chameleon had both coccidia as well as pinworms. And as part of treatment, I had to rip down the cage I set up and quarantine Iroh which was hard for both of us.

Through advice I received here from wonderful form members such as @Beman and @MissSkittles I received treatment advice, what to request from the vet, and careful guidance as how to proceed from this point.

After 2 rounds of meds with waiting periods and support I finally received news that Iroh had cleared both parasites and was given the all clear to transition himself out of quarantine.

This meant I was able to build him out a full size enclosure again, which was another task that was not simple. After doing this, I ran into a new problem: a thermal burn.

Once again the forms were able to point me in the right direction in terms of treatment, triage of the medical concern, and environmental corrections that had to be made. These corrections led me to automating both my water and heat source.

Now one year post treatment for parasites, a lot of labor and anxiety, I have a stable Cham, and a mostly self regulating environment.

Thank you everyone at the chameleon forms for all your help.

And to new keepers I want to just say that if you’re reading this post, listen to the members here. They are kind, helpful, and animal welfare motivated. I’m happy to be a member of such an amazing community.
