Veiled or Panther...

In the market for my first chameleon. Thinking about a veiled, but looking at the care sheets here, it says Panthers are novice ones too.

So, are panthers as "easy" to keep as veileds?

What differences are there, other than humidity?

If I was to use a handheld sprayer, how many times should the cage be misted on a veiled? A panther?

Hi johnR,do u like more colorful male cham or less colorful(Still beautiful either way)??
Big cone head looking male or other?
They both pretty similar just slightly different on the food for vegetables parts as Older veiled eats the vegetables,not so much at all on the panther...
As far as ur current cage is only suitable for only baby size cham,u will need to upgrade to a larger cage size when they getting bigger even on the females also,the males always required a much bigger cage, whichever u gonna get,I wish you the best luck

I chose a panther for my first Cham for both the colorful looks and the less aggressive personality based on what I'd read and seen.

Went with a male panther.
