Ok my question is the same as the other what if i use a double shoe box rubbermaid making it 9 1/2 inches or a small bucket 6 inches in length and width for my veiled to lay eggs is this ok or no? I just want to be prepared just in case.

If the laying bin is unsuitable then she may not lay at all and become egg bound.
You really need to have it right for her :)

I can always tell when my female is ready to lay as she has a daily routine, but when she is ready she is all over and can't stop moving so I put her in the lay bucket with a heat lamp over one side and a pothos cutting for her to feel secure and she'll usually start to lay within the next couple hours
make sure the sand holds up to digging sometimes starting a hole before you put her in to test the soil helps her get going.
And remember THEY LOVE THEIR PRIVACY!!!:)
