Veiled female with odd markings around eye.

Hi, I've had her for a week. the first closeup photo is from when I first got her and her eye area was off color but not as bad as it is now. The other shots are of the area of concern; above her left eye. any thoughts on what this might be? She pivots, rotates, and seems to use the eye normally.

Oh my goodness she just has the sweetest face. It doesn't look like a shed to me because its dark. It seems like an odd place to get a thermal burn...I'm wondering if its some kind of bacterial or fungal growth.

Poor little honey! That does look like a thermal burn to me too, and possibly a bad one. She definitely needs treatment from a veterinarian for that

Yes that is a thermal burn... Vet and you need silversulfadiazine cream from them. I would jump on this quickly. Then you want to re check your temps and how close she is. Let us know what your basking temp is right now.
