Koba does this quite a bit. But only when I'm watching from the arlo camera. He never does it in front of me.

I have one that does this often. I, too, initially mistook it for him being thirsty... but after seeing his true drinking routine this is different. @Chris Anderson 's comment is interesting. There are other chameleons nearby, I wonder if he is picking up on that. He's the only one out of four that I've seen do it.
