I don't mean to be a debbie downer by posting these... just thought they were just really interesting. Makes me happy to know that they're are so many herp keepers in the world. One day they may be keeping certain species out there from being extinct.

This sure sums it up nicely... And this time the cause isn't an errant asteroid or megavolcanoes. It's us"

Though it is a depression topic, it is good for us to at least be aware of these issues and appreciate what life is left thus far, though dwindling away.
