I'd like to thank Laurie for the little one. Incredibly cute, and not the least bit shy.

Mr. Angry cristatus, who never received a name...hates the camera, me, and everything else. He missed my hand when he tried to bite me, and I'm pretty sure he'll never take a good picture. He's about 2 1/2 years old now, and a perpetual bachelor

I love all of your carpet, quad and cristatus pics. Makes me really happy to see them.

As for your cristatus, if Brad isn't sending you a female, let me know. Your male needs to breed before he croaks from old age. My females are growing up but they aren't even close to breeding age but I can part with one for the cause.

Amazing to see the quad baby. Makes me sentimental.

Hey Kevin is that straight sand you are using for your laying bin?

We always provide a mix of sand and soil ..or sometimes just soil, for our carpet girls but they NEVER dig they always scatter the eggs.

It is straight sand, but usually I use a mixture like you. You have to be really persistent. It isn't like a veiled where they just start digging. They may be pacing around the bucket half the day before they start digging. And I generally have to try on and off for multiple days. It's rare for one to dig an use the first nest. It might take 3 days! But I put them back in their cage in between for hydration. Also, don't bother with a bucket inside the cage. Remove them so they have nothing else to look at

Your chams look fantastic Kevin, love your Carpets they are so beautiful really miss my 2 that I used to have. Is your Cristatus CB my Stumpee is CH & is so friendly he gently takes food from my fingers, perhaps Im just lucky. Heatherxxx
