Supplementing

I'm a new owner to a Panther Chameleon, and I've been told various bits about supplementing by different people, so I'm looking for the correct way to go about it. And is there such thing as over-supplementing. I currently have the powder pictured in the image which is calcium with D3 and am lightly dusting each time I feed him. Is this correct? thanks in advance.

Here is the caresheet for Panthers:
https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/panther/

You can trust the information in this caresheet. They were assembled by very experienced chameleon keepers and breeders.

For panthers, it is generally recommended to use:
  • Plain Calcium with NO D3 at every feeding
  • A multivitamin with D3 every other week (twice a month).
If your multivitamin does not have D3, you can rotate in the Calcium with D3 like you have on alternate weeks, but you should not use that every day. D3 supplements can build up in the body and cause health problems.
