Thanks for more toad pictures....Is that a full grown Bufo? Or juvie? Your hand is great to give an idea of size. I do like the coloration. Do young people catch things like that to keep at home like I did? Or is that forbidden? Here we can catch reptiles but not birds. It's illegal to own any birds natural to the USA (except rescue/rehab stuff). Thanks for the toad fix. We don't have them in my area. Just tree frogs. They are pretty cute though.

Great pix; I look forward to more newts (if you find them on your hard drive). Here in Michigan, we're rather deprived of lizards (only two species, neither common), but we've got the frogs, toads and a few snakes. I should try and get some amphibian pix, because little wood frogs have been everywhere these past couple weeks when we've been out in the woods.

it's a juvenile from this year. They grow up nearly to my full hand size
Here's even illegal to catch those animals to make pictures. But wtf I don't care about it. The Bufo calamita are much smaller, I hope to find some the next days
When I was younger I catched those herps together with some friends but nowadays it seems as if Nintendo DSs are more important.
The Laecerta agilis were one of the first reptiles which I breed successfully. That's why I still can't get enough of making pics of them. This year we have much juvenils here than the last years so I hope that their population becomes bigger again
