Six month old Panther Chameleon Tanzy! -update

Hey everyone.

First off i really want to thank all of you for being so helpful to everyone on the forum. And special thanks to Sandrachameleon, Jannb, and Carol5208 (and anyone else i might be blanking) for answering my specific questions and for your awesome blogs and support!

Peridot Tanzanite Magnesium turned six months old last Tuesday! Here are some updated pix and i put more on my page, go looOk!

To me he looks like an Ambilobe (BB) x Sambava... more Sambava... JMHO though

I will say more than the actual colors themselves its, the hues of the greens and oranges, theyre darker and more defined than what you would see on a pure Ambilobe... It may just be due to age but as I look through some of your pictures his colors seem to become more defined as dark as opposed to brightening in the sense of actual "brightness".... If that makes sense /:

That would be great. I do think his colors are more "dark" than "bright" unless he is being all blue. However he is my fiirst cham...

I try

Don't be afraid to ask people where they get their information-- sometimes habits form in a community without notice, even if they aren't necessarily accurate. Do research, find studies~ Google Scholar is a great resource if you're into the science of things like I am! (Ie- screens in many cases are better, but keeping a chameleon in a glass terrarium has been done with great success globally. When done properly, it is a great solution to humidity issues~ BUT if you say you are rocking a glass case on the forums it seems to be a no go!)

Oh, and if they say wikipedia, find someone else!

Sometimes the drama llama calls to us all though... gotta fb it up every once in a while
