Saw these at a local pet store

I don't remember ... I just knew that at least the male was sick and if I got him , there was no way he would survive . I'm just starting with chams , so nursing him back to health would be way out of my abilities .

The Petsmart near me had a veiled that i picked up. It was a "rescue" that they took home and got recovered. I was told about the previous calcium deficiency and given the dusting instructions. She claimed that she was only selling it to me because of my knowledge in chameleons and that she trusted I could continue the recovery. It got a vet check before they sold it so I decided to take it home.

Normally I would agree with everyone else here and avoid the pet stores. Maybe you can convince the pet store that it is indeed sick and that you would be willing to take it and try to save it (but I doubt it) Very sad
