Do you defrost the cubes when or what when needed. As I only have 1 turtle I buy fresh fish and devide into cube portions.

Honestly, I just wake up in the morning and grab 10 cubes, go out to the greenhouse and put 3 each in with the dubias and orange heads, 2 with the snails, one with the surinams, and one with the crix. Most are nocturnal, so the cubes are thawed by the time they’re actively feeding.

I had thought about blending stuff up for feeders the other week rather than individual foods . Do you have a ratio (obviously) like that you would recommend

I do my best to stick with the ratios recommended on this forum. Roughly: 65-75% high calcium greens; 25-15% other veg; 5-10% fruits; 5% powders.

To be clear, I play pretty fast and loose with the rules, so please consult as many sources as you can. Also, I boil all the high calcium greens first. You lose some water soluble vitamins, but also up to 70% of the oxalates. My goal is always, high calcium, high carotenoids, a good spread of vitamins.
